The FDA has warned consumers to stop using the dietary supplement Hydroxycut. This drug is manufactured by Iovate Health Sciences, Inc., and they are recalling all of the Hydroxycut products. These include Max Drink Packets, Caffeine-Free Rapid Release Caplets, and Max Aqua Shed. The injuries involve the liver. There has been one death reported.

If you have taken these dangerous products, return them IMMEDIATELY!!! Why does this happen? Americans want the easy way out. We want the lazy way. We want to be entertained, and we want to do as little as possible to get what we want. We want easy money - gambling, lotteries (I'm not against these either). We want our sports. We want our movies. We want quick food (microwaves). We want more for less. And, more importantly, with respect to Hydroxycut, we want to lose weight without having to work for it.

How do you lose weight? Output greater than input. There is no secret. There is no miracle drug, or if there is, it usually kills or injures (see Phen fen). Exercise more than you eat. Eat in moderation. Work hard, and you will get there.

My question is, will muscletech fix this problem allowing hydroxycut to get back on the market and help people loose weight?

I stopped using Hydroxycut years ago because it was making me crazy. Like i was on 10 cups of coffee! I knew it couldn't be safe. I switched to Que She the Chinese herbal weight loss pills. It's the safe alternative. This is the official site for anyone interested in seeing the similarities and differences between hydroxycut and Que She: More ...

Thank you for your comments. My point is: I know it's difficult, but losing weight can be accomplished with hard work. It's mind over matter. If you exercise and eat small, healthy portions of food, you will lose weight. Fast food restaurants are not healthy typically, and restaurants generally serve too large of portions. Good things come with hard work. There is no quick fix.

Basically, Paul Gardiner, a high school graduate of working class parents stacked ephedra, aspirine and caffeine, and found it burned calories. We called ephedra 'exercise in a bottle'. It works, but it also kills people.
We all knew the reason Hydoxycut 'worked' so well was the high price was a big motivator for people who self-diagnosed and self-prescribed.

No finished product was ever tested on humans, and the 'clinical' trials never mentioned the results that were thrown out that didn't match the outcome...
