Last week, a Florida jury awarded several million dollars to a plaintiff who suffered brain injuries in a two car accident. According to the Herald Tribune, the injured man did not immediately seek medical treatment for his brain injuries because he did not appreciate the extent of them at the time. The brain injury affected the victims ability to earn income and his behavior. In addition, the crash victim suffered a back injury that will require further surgery and therapy for the rest of his life.
